About Us
Husband and Wife Team Rebecca and Paul Eversley have been researching Migration stories in Wales for over 17 years. Rebecca is an archaeologist and historian with over 25 years experience and Paul is an artist and historian, with a passion for Local History. They are specialists in the history of West African Migration to Wales, and have written and published three Books on Black History in South Wales.
They have Co- Authored, African Connections: The Seamen who came to Wales, Newport’s Forgotten History: The 1919 Race Riots, and Calypso & Coal: From Port to Pit.
Together they provide specialist consultation for a number of Funded Projects and have provided Historical Consultation for Award Winning Production Companies.
They are leaders of the South East Wales Young Archaeologists' Club and enjoy bringing art and archaeology to the community.
